Description
The Fanmig J5 is a modern inverter semi-automatic welding gun for welding using the MIG/MAG, MMA, and LiftTIG (DC) methods. The device is used for welding steel or stainless steel under a shield of gas mixtures; suitable for use in crafts, automotive sheet metal work, hobby projects, etc. Welding parameters are set on the front panel of the welder. In the MIG/MAG method, parameters are set synergistically (see chapter 6). Depending on the selected diameter of the steel wire, the knob simultaneously adjusts the welding current (V) and the corresponding wire feed speed (m/min). The device is powered by a single-phase 230 V network. It can weld with wire from 1kg or 5kg spools. The device can also weld with an MMA coated electrode and, after connecting a torch with a valve, also by the TIG DC method with arc initiation by touching the end of the tungsten electrode (LiftTIG). The device is protected against overheating by a thermal sensor. The device is made in accordance with EN 60974-1 standard.
