Kemppi Factory Warranty Terms for Welding Equipment and Their Components:
- Kemppi Oy provides a 24-month warranty for equipment and accessories it sells, covering defects in manufacturing and materials.
- Warranty repairs may only be carried out by Kemppi-authorized service providers.
- Packaging, transportation, and insurance costs for parts replaced under warranty are covered by the customer.
- The warranty is valid from the date of purchase. Only the terms explicitly stated in the warranty conditions are binding. Any verbal agreements not included in the written warranty are not enforceable
Warranty Limitations
- The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, overloading, negligence, failure to follow maintenance instructions, incorrect voltage or gas pressure, electrical disturbances or faults, damage during transport or storage, fire, or natural conditions.
- The warranty does not cover direct or indirect costs related to warranty repairs (e.g., transportation, daily allowances, accommodation, etc.).
The warranty does not apply to welding torches and their consumable parts, or to feed rollers and liners of wire feeders. - The warranty does not cover direct or indirect damage caused by a defective device.
- The warranty becomes void if the equipment has been modified or rebuilt without the manufacturer’s approval, or if non-original or non-approved parts have been used in repairs.
- The warranty is also void if repairs are carried out by a company not authorized by Kemppi.
Warranty Repair Procedure
- If a warranty defect occurs, Kemppi Oy or an authorized service provider must be notified during the warranty period.
- Before warranty repair begins, the customer must present a warranty certificate or otherwise prove the validity of the warranty in writing, including the purchase date and the serial number of the device.
- Parts and assemblies replaced under warranty become the property of Kemppi Oy.
- Warranty repairs do not extend the warranty period of the equipment or accessories; the warranty for repaired or replaced items remains valid until the end of the original warranty period.
