    Textile sling straps for lifting and transporting loads

    Description

    Textile slings made of synthetic materials are intended for lifting and transporting loads susceptible to surface damage.

    Textile slings are lightweight compared to chain slings and have a safety factor of 7:1.

    Directive 2009/104/EC REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF ECONOMY of October 30, 2002 on the minimum requirements for safety and health at work in relation to the use of machines by employees during work.

    § 1 Whenever the regulation refers to "machine" – this shall mean all machines and other technical devices, tools and installations used at work, as well as equipment for temporary work at height, in particular ladders and scaffolding (...)
    § 27 The employer must ensure that machines exposed to conditions that may deteriorate their technical condition, which could lead to dangerous situations, are subject to periodic inspections as well as examinations by units operating under separate regulations or persons authorized by the employer and possessing the appropriate qualifications (...)
    § 28.1 The results of the inspections referred to in § 26 and 27, shall be recorded and stored at the disposal of the interested authorities, especially for the supervision and control of working conditions, for a period of 5 years from the date of completion of these inspections, unless separate regulations state otherwise.

    ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE MINISTER OF ECONOMY, LABOR AND SOCIAL POLICY of August 28, 2003 regarding the publication of the consolidated text of the regulation of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy regarding general provisions on safety and hygiene at work.

    § 40.1 The employer is obliged to ensure systematic controls of the state of safety and hygiene at work with special emphasis on the organization of work processes, the technical condition of machines and other technical devices, and to establish methods for registering irregularities and methods for eliminating them.
    § 51.1 Machines and other technical devices, hereinafter referred to as "machines", must meet the requirements of safety and hygiene at work, as specified in separate regulations, throughout their period of use.
    § 51.2 The assembly, disassembly and operation of machines, including their operation, should be carried out in compliance with the requirements of safety and hygiene at work and ergonomics, taking into account the instructions contained in the technical and operational documentation.
    § 57 Machines and tools and their protective devices should be maintained in a technical and cleanliness condition that ensures their use without harm to the safety and health of employees and used only in the processes and conditions for which they are intended.
